To launch Apple Pay in Japan, we wanted to create a story that was uniquely Japanese. Gift giving is an important tradition in Japan — with the wrapping and presentation of the gift often being more important than the gift itself.
The launch video we created highlights all of the new ways people in Japan can use Apple Pay through a human story that honored Japanese tradition.
